In 2002, Isac Jo envisioned the creation of a line of prints showcasing Indian art, photography,
and design. Isac wanted to help non-resident Indians maintain a connection with their
traditional culture while adding a touch of elegance to their living room walls.
Isac's exploration of American and Indian art forms throughout his career has enriched his
perspective of fine art and has influenced him in his journey to define himself as an artist.
Therefore, Isac's unique work is characterized by a synthesis of the essential qualities of
traditional realism and contemporary photography techniques.
Born in Kerala, India, Isac developed an interest in art and photography at a young age. He
studied art at the J.J. School of Arts in Bombay and began his career in the Bombay
advertising field. After immigrating to America, Isac graduated in photography and graphic
design and soon became a member of the faculty. During his lengthy career as a
photographer and artist, Isac has designed numerous cover pages and photo essays for
leading national magazines. He has garnered many awards in the process.
